about

A message from SOFT//:SOUNDS
soundcloud.com/soulcultivation

Tritone Terrarium is the discovery of the creative relations between SOFT//:SOUNDS and two of their most adored peers; doktorb and Sidekick Wave.
It is a successful bio experiment connecting the threads of a shared consciousness that exists only in the artificial web of hyperspace.
The results are anything but artificial, and for a moment the discordant harmonies are attuned into imaginable landscapes and vivid textures.
Space and time bend at the will of the artisans, collapsing in concentrated output that broadcasts to the networks beyond.
You must decode the signals. Your reality may depend on it.

"SOFT://SOUNDS " are the ongoing efforts of one artist, collaborator, and industry laborer Zak "ZakIzak '' Schermerhorn to share the perspective of the musician in the post-modern era.

A message from doktorb

My contributions for this split were born out of a year of collaboration with SOFT://SOUNDS who pushed me in some really interesting and unexpected creative and aesthetic directions. It feels really personally significant to have this release come out as a document of both our collective creative growth and friendship.
doktorb has been the musical alter ego of Adrian Lucas-Healey for longer than he can remember. As an extended experiment in found sound collage, doktorb has served as a way of processing the ebb and flow of information that makes up the media-saturated swap we all find ourselves swimming in.

A message from Sidekick Wave

This release was a great evolutionary opportunity given by the amazing SOFT//:SOUNDS. A new style of sound emerged for this release to both fit in with the previous collaborations and to play counterpoint.

Sidekick Wave is the name given to the three year long music exploration by David Miller. Designed to explore a range of music and genre, the project began July 2020 and will evolve or die, July of 2022.
